I'm a recent player and i'm not sure if this is the place to do this post but is there a post where you can see how tatics and formations work and what can counter what? like a tutorial more deep into de game ?
I'm new to the game and i'm loving it but is kinda hard if you go just by your instinct without knowing the bases

Hey Brinki, basically inside the tactical page, OSM already giving us many hints,
for example,- positioning of Attacker, midfielder and defensive players, the hint is don't set attacking line when you have lot of defending qualities players.
- Pressure , Style and tempo of play
when you want to play with attacking plan, you should apply higher pressure, 0 mean no press while 100 mean high press. while, you should set your style to attacking while you are using offensive formation, and set a higher tempo if your team is more superior than opponets.
- Tackling style
tackling like in real life can be crucial for the matches, but be careful to pay attention to the referee, you might not easily get a card if the referee is lenient, so basically you can play hard tackles. but if the referee is trigger happy one, you can easily get a card, including red card.
but besides of that, you will find that it will take times for you to find a good tactics for your teams. that's what make OSM is interesting. even when you use same tactics, you get a varied results.

after being undefeated for more than 3 months and with a 95% winning percentage, my 433A with wings play betrayed me: I lost 4-0 in the champions' cup against a 433B tiki-taka, zone marking, no offside, stronger than me (135 vs. 128).
I want to try to turn it around in the return leg: do you have any tips on how to do it?

I think it's quite difficult if you use the same 433A to fight your enemy. since your squad is weaker than your enemy.
if your enemy is still using 433B, you can use 5 midfielders tactic like 4231 or 451 with Shoot on Sight tactic. But effective or not, it depend on your overall tactic setting.

for 433b how is it wing play
@Sir-Ben-Allen Hi Sir, 433B using wing-play is to optimize your RW and LW as they are more like wingers forwards.
so that's why you find many managers will use wingplay in 433B formation. -

@Msaten-Fantasma If they go defensive and we're similar overall. Then I go more defensive 631a counterattack.

I don’t know, i’ve never used it. I would go with:
Game plan: shoot on sight
Tackling: normal
Forwards: attack only
Midfielders: protect the defence
Defenders: drop deep
Pressing: 40
Style: 35
Tempo: 35
Offside trap: yes
Zonal marking -
Good evening guys. Please I wanted to confirm if this is a good idea and if OSM simulation program will not punish me for these in top duels. You know how difficult it is to play LM and RM formations right? Because the players in these positions are not usually on transfer market. Is it wise if I capitalize on my RW and LW in these formations for 4231 and 442A then I use my RB and LB for 451 and 352?
