I mentioned only foreign (for me) movies. There are many more great Russian films, but as I suppose it's rather difficult for foreigners to understand them entirely just as to understand the enigmatic Russian soul

You read my mind Paul. Believe it or not, it took me 2 days and nights to prepare the final list of my Top 10 movies.
I have no idea how long it will take me to decide for my Top 10 song list ! Oh dear... :rofl:

Since I'm a female while the majority of the OSM forumers are male I've decided to leave out some very popular action or sci-fi movies that I've watched and loved , cause I'm sure all of you guys will vote for them good enough. :thumbsup_tone1:

So here's my final list of my Top 10 movies:

Avatar - 2009 , I've watched the 3D movie at the cinema and I felt like I was daydreaming. Completely lost in it. Wish this world could be real ! :bow_tone1:
Braveheart - 1995 , I must have watched this movie over 5 times and every single time it gets me. I end up crying like a This movie has it all and talks about everything important in life: friendship, loyalty, betrayal, hatred, war, love, need of freedom. Hats off to Mel for acting and directing it too.
The Lord Of The Rings - 2001, A modern adventurous fairytale and a great combination of action, drama, romance and mythical creatures. What's not to love about it?
American History X - 1998
The Green Mile - 1999
Harry Potter ( all the movies ) , Yep I'm a big kid and I just love magic & mythical creatures
Dead Poets Society - 1989
Gran Torino - 2008
V for Vendetta - 2005
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer - 2006
