BUG: Unable to sell a player because of an error.

I'm being told
"Oops! You can't add this player to the Transfer List because you bought him from a manager IN YOUR LEAGUE on this matchday.".
This is false, I am in a Turkish league and I bought the player this morning from Basel. In Switzerland! If I can't sell this player then I have no chance of earning enough money to buy another player I want. If this happens, I will be asking for compensation from Gamebasics. Please respond ASAP. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply Hespera. The player is Arnaud Souquet, as per the picture, and I have the same problem whether I use my Win10 PC or my Android tablet. I even logged out and back in to try to fix it. I pull up my squad, click on the player, pick a price and click "Add to transfer list". Then I get the error message. Ironically, Tomas (the player at the very top of the picture) was also bought this morning and was sold this afternoon, indicating that it isn't down to the fact that he was bought today. The ONLY other reason is that Souquet was "bought from another manager in my own league", which you can clearly see is not the case.
If you need anything else, let me know. I didn't get an alert when this message came in but I'll keep checking for a reply. Thanks again.

@sir-robbie-bobson You've bought that player yesterday, sold him today and bought him again today, so in fact that player was already transferred from a club today on that league.
In this case you'll need to wait 24 hours before you can sell him again. -
@hespera So I can't sell a player because I've already sold him?? He was simply the best bargain at the time I looked, it had nothing to do with me that he appeared on the transfer list again the day after I sold him. I didn't buy him FROM a manager in my league and I haven't sold him TO a manager in my league so how am I supposed to know about that "rule"? FWIW, I tried again at midnight to list the player and managed but it doesn't change the fact that I shouldn't have had to wait all day to do it. My questions would be:
- If I can sell a player the same day I buy him, why can't I sell someone I bought yesterday? and
- If you intend to keep that as one of the rules, are you planning on changing the error message so that it gives me the correct information instead of what's shown in the picture?

[Edit: I'm sure this situation can't happen often so just one more question to clarify. Yes, I bought the player yesterday (actually two days ago now but let's keep it simple) and I sold him today. If I had sold him yesterday (the same day I bought him) would I then have been able to buy AND sell him again today? If not, why not and if so, how is it different? Thanks.]

You've bought the player 20-11 sold him 21-11 and bought him again at 21-11-18, so it's logic that you can't sell the player again at the same day.When the 24hours are over you will be able to sell him, you will notice that soon enough.

Thanks for your reply. I understood your message, as far as I can tell, and you seem to have backed up the point I was making. You've said "it's logic that you can't sell the player again at the same day". Where is the logic? I bought Tomas and sold him the same day. I also bought Ardaiz and sold him the same day. If there's nothing stopping me selling a player the same day I buy him, why would I be stopped from selling a player because I've already sold him once the same day? It seems that it's not actually breaking any rules, it's simply confusing the game engine, which is stopping me from selling the same player twice because it doesn't realise I've bought him twice. I would hope that's something that can be fixed. As I said earlier, I can't imagine something like this happening often (it's the first time it's happened to me in almost 6 years) but surely the code can be amended so it doesn't happen again?

@Sir-Robbie-Bobson I'd say this doesn't need any fixing. This is a football manager simulation game, and it wouldn't be realistic to sell the player, buy him back and then sell him again in the same day. This never happens in real life. I consider the coding behind the game pretty smart in avoiding cheating with this restriction, so I can't see a reason to remove this...

@sir-robbie-bobson This is a protection to reduce cheating,
you can't sell a player on same day you bought him, if that player was sold by a manager on your league on that same day (round).
Since we implemented the chance of sold players return to league occasionally these situations may occur. -
@avantul-prabusirea Buying a player intending ONLY to sell him to raise money to buy a better player wouldn't happen in real life either but it happens in the game. If the game allows you to sell a player the same day you buy him, it shouldn't matter that you've already bought and sold him. In this instance I hadn't even realised I was buying a player I'd just sold because sold players would never usually reappear on the transfer list. If this block is to cut down on cheating then fair enough but my point that the message gives the wrong information is still valid. I accept that "these situations may occur [only] occasionally" but they still happen and the system should know enough to tell me why it's happened. If I'd known it would happen, I might not have bought the player, I might have bought someone else or just earned interest instead.

@sir-robbie-bobson Player was bought and sold in same day by a team inside the league. In this case it was exactly same team: yours. This is how system works! Think this is clear now, so time to close this!
