Referees and their Effects

Have you ever seen something like this??? ahahahahahahah
No photoshop, everything is real. You can check profile of ''acsm'', he is playing for 10 years already, played 7.500 matches in his career.Man, man, man...Got a red card, leaded 3-0 and lost 3-7!!! ahahahahahah Is this real?

@MenagerBL
Amazing game! -
This is a very helpful topic. Today I played the cup final against a weaker opponent and I got a red card in the 18th minute, even though I was playing normal tackling with with an orange referee.Obviously I lost the game and I was so mad because I didn't knew what happened, I was even more mad because he played agressive tackling and didn't get any red card..so now I have to admit that I was playing high pressure and probably that was the cause of the red card.
-
BTW, I was playing 79% pressure and zonal marking.Btwbtw my team is worth 1200 milions, whilst his only 500.

How you do it pls tackling and pressure
Referee red for example careful and balanced pressing?
-
@stevemicallef0
Green โ reckless, 100
Blue โ Aggressive, 100
Yellow โ aggressive, 75
Orange โ normal, 50
Red- Careful, 50That's usually how I adjust my mentality and pressing. Hope it will help!
-
Actually, pressing is just where your defense is positioned.
-
I recalled that great old topic and thought.. Let's bring it back to life to continue the discussion.
Had to lock the new Ref topic and to move three of your posts in here guys.@Adilmo-Rocha Are you still around buddy?
Long time no see.. -
Hello everybody!
Today I will post my most recent example of how to get a good score while having a red Ref on your match.
Latvia league, small one and only 3 real managers playing there but it's ok.
So tonight I was playing vs the Computer manager. Nevertheless, we can still get a good idea about the game.Joined this league not from the prep days but on matchday 5 . My squad's total value was 22,5 M. Today it is around 115 M.
Tip 1 : Work hard on your squad building!
With a goal 5 team I'm now on position 2.
On my first rounds there I had only one option : to play defensively. I even lost from a Computer team. But from the middle of the league and while reaching the finish line I could afford to play offensively and score. Now back to our Referee discussion.
I expect your questions, if you're interested to know anything more. -
This is what my Spy had to tell me about my opposition.
Yes I use my Spy every single time! Absolutely love this fella !
Tip 2 : Never underestimate your opponent , even if it is a Computer managed team.
Sometimes it uses lowsy tactics but other times it can really surprise you with great ones! -
Great topic to read @SUPERNOVA-8
I've got quite similar thoughts about the ref. With my strategy, in my US-competition, I only received 16 yellow and 2 red cards in 35 rounds. The red cards are from the start of the league when I used reckless tackling a lot..
-
@joost-sลter_nl Thank you very much for your post mate!
Tbh , I was expecting more managers to join me on this very helpful topic & discussion , but... nobody seems to care?
So strange, cause I keep reading questions troubling the managers about Refs and tackling or pressure etc.Four (4) pages of valuable infos in here guys & gals !
-
Look at that guys! Even a Computer managed team got more yellows than I did.
-
@supernova-8 How many CPU teams are in your competition?
-
@joost-sลter_nl When I first joined this league there were 4 CPU ( aka computer managed ) teams. Following one resignation, at my finish line we had 5 out of 8 CPU clubs.
I'm not bragging about this league guys. Like I said, it was a minor league with very few real managed teams.
I'm trying to spice things up a little and start a creative chat in here about the 'special tactics' and formations that could be used according to the strictness of each Ref(eree).
-
@supernova-8 is there any significant change about pressure and actitude actually?

Hello David !
I'm sorry but I'm not sure what exactly you're asking me. Could you please explain to me your thoughts? -

Now to continue and complete my case study , I took screen shots of my own line up and tactics 2 days ago in order to present them
in here with the hope it triggers a nice chat and exchange of opinions within our community. My line up on that match:
My tactics on that match:

So in a few words .. I was playing at my home vs a weaker CPU team , our Ref was a red one ( the worst Ref - strictest of them all ) and the CPU team decides to play with 451 CounterAttack, Man Marking , No Offside Trap and Normal tackling .
What do you have to say about this case study?
What are your thoughts guys?
I'm all ears ! -
Today's result, played away with careful strategy
