@harry-poon But didn't we get this 2 weeks ago? Isn't it strange that we get the same event in 2/3 weeks time? A little more divercity won't kill anyone in my opinion

This topic is for the announcement of the events.
They will try to announce it on time, but sometimes like today there has been a delay.There's no need to request the events every thursday or sooner, they will announce it when they are ready for it.

If you want, i can call you thursday!I am sure every manager on Osm gets a notification on his/her phone app as soon as the new weekend event is activated for all of us to use it. And that's the formal and ideal way of Osm to inform managers about anything new like an event.
The announcement of these events on this topic is just an extra ( the tiny cherry on top as they say ) are more in a typical rather than practical way, just like my colleague @Hespera mentioned already .
So please make sure to check if your mobile phone's notifications are ON and better think twice next time before posting a cheeky suggestion like that. I assure you it will be deleted from now on. -
@supernova-8 I think that he is trying to say that he wants to know before the weekend starts, since then he can adjust his playstyle / settings accordingly
For example: If there were to be an event that would speed up the construction of stadium upgrades, it would then take 6 hours instead of 18. If you were to start building on Thursday around 11pm, this would mean that the construction would be done around 5 pm, the next day. This means that you wouldn't get any profit from the event until you finished building, since it will not speed up your current construction.
The same goes for the speedy scout: If you start scouting on friday morning (let's say 9am (which means that in The Netherlands the event hasn't started yet.) and then suddenly see that the scouting time would be shortened from 16 tot 2 hours on the same day (let's say you see the message on 10 am), you would have to spend 15/14 bosscoins in order to actually profit from the event.
For me this isn't really a problem, since I am willing to spend some bosscoins, but for the less fortunate / more preservative players, this could present a problem.
As for the current event, I cannot fully profit from it today, since I already played a couple of friendlies yesterday evening on my most important slot. If I knew that the event would start today, I wouldn't have played those friendlies yesterday, but I cannot turn back time now can I?
I fully understand that sometimes it simply isn't possible to do anything perfect, and I know that @Harry-Poon is a busy man and that he sometimes can't give us this information on time, but I do get @Márcio-Girilim-Santos's point

All I was trying to say is that any rude or disrespectful post on the forum towards an Admin or Staff or Moderator will be deleted ( at least ) . Just like all of us try to support you , inform you and treat you with respect at all times we expect nothing less in return from our community.
