@reseat Of course, Sevilla is always a potential EL winner, but this year I don't see them as champs!

    P.S. Sevilla hold's a UEFA Europa League record with 5 trophies! πŸ˜‰

@reseat Yeah, Sevilla is a good club, and maybe they can surprise us this year, but I still believe in my first statement πŸ˜† πŸ˜‰

And I must pay my respect to the Spanish clubs because they are dominant in European football in the last decade!!! πŸ˜‰

THE MIGHTY BENFICA FALLS IN ZAGREB!!! What a sensational win for Dinamo Zagreb. Yes, Benfica is still 80% favourite to progress for the next round, but this is simply stunning result for Croatian football. BRAVO DINAMO!!

@reseat All matches are ended, and now we can only analyze them.

Slavia Prague is the biggest surprise of this UEFA Europa League campaign! βœ…

They beat a great club as Sevilla is, go to the quarterfinal of EL, and that is a great achievement for Slavia!

And I must say that Eintracht Frankfurt is the second biggest surprise, but they are playing nice and serious football in the last 3,4 years and hard work paid out! πŸ”

I would really like to see a final game between Slavia and Eintracht, but that is not gonna happen! πŸ’₯ πŸ˜ƒ

I still believe that this EL winner will be some of these clubs: Chelsea, Napoli, Arsenal.

    Cheers

@pin-kod Inter's exit really surprised me. Considering their performance in Serie A , this will definitely hurt. Considering their ambitions, I honestly don't think Spalletti would survive as the manager for an another season.
And Slavia Prague really pulled a blinder πŸ˜† didn't expect that from them.

@tony-alvera Inter out is a surprise for you? Well not so much to me, in fact I even bet on Frankfurt going on, especially with the amount of injuries inter had, the football and consistency Eintracht showed this year are simply sublime, and let's not forget the shitshow that has going on lately with Inter, Icardi, Wanda, Perisic & Brozo and Spalleti, what surprised me most was Slavia for sure, I hope they'll put a good performance against Chelsea, but I seriously see Eintracht as a team able to pass Benfica next round and maybe reach the final

@sergiu-il I was expecting a Inter win because of San Siro. I was down there when they played Spurs in the group stages. That crowd can really make the night difficult for any visitors. But yeah, they really need to deal with the issue surrounding Icardi. Its really stinking the whole place up and part responsible for their recent form. He's likely getting sold in the summer.

@tony-alvera I understand your reasoning, but 3000 eintracht ultra normally are enough to out-noise the home team, besides for this game Inter allotted 13,500 seats for eintracht fans, check how many of them were there in Milan yesterday

@sergiu-il Yup, those lot are pretty damn noisy. They tore it up in last year's DFB pokal final. I thought my eardrums would rupture πŸ˜‚ But I had no idea they were allotted 13k, Spurs were given barely half of that.
Btw, I've got a question for you and everyone else here. Who do you expect to make it to the finals?
My prediction would be Chelsea vs Napoli

    @reseat Yeah, a big surprise! 😱

Sevilla is a great team, with amazing individuals such as Banega, Jesus Navas, Sarabia, Andre Silva, El Haddadi etc. , but sometimes individual quality isn't enough!

Hoping that Sevilla will finish in the top4 of the Spanish league because they deserve to play Champions League next year πŸ˜‰

    cheers

@tony-alvera In my opinion, Inter has great individual potential, same as Sevilla, but they didn't create that team spirit and they are not consistent with a good performance this year in the Italian league, as well in the Europa League!

They will probably finish this season in 3rd or 4th position in the Italian league, and maybe next year they will play better in the Champions League.

And who knows how long Spalletti will last as club's manager, maybe Mourinho will replace him at the end of the season! πŸ™€ 🚎

    Cheers

Congrats to benfica for 3-0 win in Lisboa after extra time. But Dinamo Zagreb can be happy, this is still big result for the club, and national league. With this Dinamo bought 2 places in XL qualification for Croatian league first time after 20 years! BRAVO guys! πŸ˜„
