@jeffro-davies I know that. But i find the official battle much more enjoyable. For example I hate losing games on purpose which is neccesery in unofficial competitions, but these official one would avoid it. My logic dictates that managers would love this, and that they would be much more competetive. A lot of them would probably invest more time and money into this game, and in the end that is the primary goal of every company includin GB. Am I right ?
Or maybe the ability to create officisl battle tournsment where you would have to invest some of your battlepoints to compete, and then those points would go to the winner as competiton prizes. Anything just to break the monotony

I'm all in for "fair play & play to win" ! And at this point I grab the opportunity to remind to everybody that collusion ( aka setting losing tactics ) goes totally against the article 8 of the OSM Terms of use!Thank you Ivan.

The official ones have grown on me and my crew though. I still think GBs BCs spend will still be a lot higher on the unofficial battles competitions than official battles? I hope unofficial battles competitions never stop.
Doing competitions with the new official battle systems has a lot of potential. If you got a good organiser to do it that has done some unofficial battles they would get loads of interest, I have no doubt about that. No losing tactics either
