The Weather Effect

Can anyone tell how does the weather affects the gameplay? I mean how should I change my tactics in a sunny day or a rainy day match? Previously I thought it doesn't make sense. But when I read a forum topic about 'Newspaper' I think it does make sense. Will be happy to know your wise answers.
