Email duplicate

Yesterday, I created an OSM account. However, I soon had reasons to change my username and attempted to do so, after fully setting up the account with email. Not being able too, I deleted the account and set up a new one: managing the exact same club in the exact same league - the only difference being my username. Now, when I try to add my email address to get full access, I am denied and there is a message that the email address is already in use... How would I go about fixing this problem, so that I can add my email address to my current account?

I'm sorry but it's not possible to use that email again, the only thing you can do is to create a new email for that account.
