Scout not working properly

Just used the scout for a young defensive midfielder 90+ and he came back with only players in the range 80-86. So I used it again this time the only player that remotely fitted the discription was 87-92 average 89. So are there no players that fit the discription or is something wrong with rhe scout?

No, there's nothing wrong with the scout. And yes you're correct! This is because there are no more players available that fits your description, and since the scout will always bring players he'll bring the next thing he can find.
Perhaps, adjusting your preferences might do the trick.
