Which communities get coins as prizes in their official tournaments?
-
@daniele-benjiamin Grazie Daniele. Io gioco a The Rebels' Yell, ma il mio Italiano è troppo pauro.
How long is it since GB creates those leagues?
Which competitions are held under GB rules?
How do managers get those coins as prizes? Do they get any personal codes to exchange them?I hope to see you soon in a battle between Italian Crews.

I hope to see you soon in a battle between Italian Crews.i don't know exactly, maybe GB always created those leagues if some community gave it the idea, sincerely i'm not so expert to tell you if in last years it already happened.
About the prizes i think they will accredit winners directly, if they would give them a personal code the risk is that someone else could use it.@rafael-1974 said in Which communities get coins as prizes in their official tournaments?:

we let pass this period of OSM world cup and summers holidays (for the others ) and then we'll organize it

GB doesn’t do any competitions for the English users at all. We can’t even have WCC, WNT, eagles etc on our forums. We have to go on different nationalities forums to look and play in competitions so we get no favouritism whatsoever
-
I’ve won something last year, a romainian competition called the royal rumble. I got a code for Boss coins (can’t remember how much). I won it again this year Not long ago but no Boss coins prizes this time
-
@jeffro-davies Wouldn't it be fair if we all got the same characteristics of the game? I know that at least the Italian and French Communities have got such things as coins aa prizes or free leagues (coins refunded).
Jeffro, feel free to join the WLC whenever you can. You have my number, so contact me whenever you are interested.
Greetings

@rafael-1974 I agree, If game basics are making lots of money for people playing in competitions that people organise for free in their own time, least they could do is give a few free leagues in the competition and a few BCs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes. Should even give the manager some BCs for organising them but that’s just my opinion.
As for WLC I still don’t have an accountthe next 2 accounts that finishes I have something lined up for them. Soon as I have a free one with nothing to use it for I will whatsapp you mate. Thank you
-
@jeffro-davies That is what happens in some communities, but not in others. I don't consider it fair. Let's hope you have the chance of organising your own English Championship
-
OSM from time to time makes competitions with boss coins as rewards....all these events are announced via the forums....
-
@rafael-1974 I put enough time into OSM with my crew without organising competitions for free mateI’m good but love competitions and without them OSM would be boring tbh. Gamebasics should know this and reward people for doing them with a few BCs. Me and my crew just go in other peoples haha

@rafael-1974
You can check with your Community Manager. Every community can organize 3/4 price events a year. This has to be organized by your CM or under his/her supervision. The Spanish CM is nando34 -
@robbiebb_nl who’s UKs or England’s robbie?
-
@jeffro-davies There is no CM for the English users. So if you like to organize a UK Championship you can contact the Global Events Manager, Markez17
-
@rafael-1974 @jeffro-davies you (And all users!) must talk about it with your Community Manager.
If you don't have CM in your community, just try with Staff Support. They will take in count your proposal and interest and communicate it to Global Staff or give you a response why it's not possible... But please, stop to say that everything is a "Gamebasics conspirancy", if some communities and their management teams have more activity than others and try to use all tools that OSM bring them is due they have initiative and want to make use of these tools!
-
@markez17 Please stop inventing things. I have not said in this forum that it is a conspiracy.
EXCUSATIO NON PETITA, ACCUSATIO MANIFESTA.
This is a legal principle you should take into account and you should apply it to you.
In this forum I am asking questions. It seems that they are uncomfortable questions, but I just want to know What, when and probably why. This is a serious matter and I am being accused by you of looking for conspiracies when I have just realized something I didnt know and I am trying to get answers asking properly.
Instead of accusing me, would you be so kind as to illuminate us by telling everyone why some communities get prizes in coins? for how long has it been so? Why some communities and not others? When will it be something general, for example?
I know you have all this information and I am very grateful in advance for your willingness to answer those questions above.
Have a nice day!!

If you continue reading after "Gamebasics conspirancy", maybe you can find the answer to your question.
I think that, if you are from ES Community and you are writing here, maybe is because you don't trust on ES Management team... I suggest you talk with your CM, one more time, or with your Staff Support, if you really want answers of course. -
@markez17 You, once again, give something for granted.
First of all, I asked the Hispanic Staff because It had struck me the difference between the Italian Community and the Hispanic Community. The answer was that they hadnt been allowed although they had already asked GB about it.
Then, I decided to ask here in case this was something exclusive from the Italian Community.
Anyway, I have never used the word CONSPIRACY so I humbly ask you to apologize about it. Otherwise I would firmly consider that it is a real fact what you accused me of saying.
Once again, I ask you, if you have the information, which communities use coins as prizes in their official tournaments?
I have never stated that I dont trust my ES staff. In fact I do more than you imagine, but its bot a matter of trust. It is a matter of lack of knowledge. And, as I told you, they told me they didnt know why.
In my humble position as a manager I am asking you for the information that refers to ALL communities and not just exclusively to the Hispanic Community. I dont see the point of hiding it by accusing me.
Thank you
-
Did you ask me to my on these prizes? I itself request the prizes So not wherefrom you extract all that?
-
@nando34 Extract what?
Your message does not correspond to anything I said before. In fact, I was writing a pm to you. I havent accussed you of anything yet.
I am asking. I have doubts and I am just enquiring. I havent accused anyone yet of anything. That is not the point of this post.
Thank you

I know that the National Italian Championship has got prizes for the top 3 winners. I would like to know if it also happens in other OSM communities as well.
I think that in some Gamebasics tournaments, those who create the leagues get their coins refunded once the leagues begin.
I am pretty interested in getting this information because I see a difference in the way Gamebasics treats us, its customers.
Moreover, please dont close the topic because I have some more questions to ask about this topic.
Thank you in advance
I think that the right answer to your questions has already been given by @Robbiebb_NL a few posts above. It is the CM of each community who can request prizes for their domestic competitions and then GB will consider whether the proposal is feasible or not, and will decide to accept or refuse the request accordingly.
So, I do not think that GameBasics treat different users in a different way, as you say. GB do not normally interfere with the domestic competitions organised by each community, so I think it is unfair of you to blame them for something they do not take part in.
I do not know if every CM of every community has ever requested prizes to GB. I guess some of them have done in the past, but it is more than likely that in many communities they never tried it, maybe because some them do not organise domestic competitions, or maybe just because the CMs themselves are not even aware of the existence of this opportunity to request free prizes!

How do managers get those coins as prizes? Do they get any personal codes to exchange them?I don't know the answer to all your questions, but I can tell from my own experience that this has been done in the Spanish Community in the past. I remember I played a competition myself back in July-August 2014, called 'Torneo de la Hispanidad' and free coins (in those days there were no 'coins' like the current ones, but we had those old 'premium day tickets') were given to the three who ended up on the top three places. I believe it was the Community Manager (P.Marchuet back on those days) who requested and arranged the prizes with GB, and tickets were added to the accounts of the winners.
I am not certain whether this only happened during the 'Torneo de la Hispanidad' or if it has happened in other events organised by the Spanish Community; as I said I can only talk about what I remember from my own experience.

I am not aware you asked that to any member of the ES Staff or that they gave you such an answer.
Anyway, now that we know a bit more about this subject, I think all we can do is trying to explore this option and ask GB if our domestic competitions are eligible to get prizes or if they can at least create the leagues. Hopefully this thread will not result in too many people asking for prizes
