Free transfers by watching videos

If I understand it correctly, in the android version there's the normal way of buying a player, spending a coin, and there's what I think is a new way of monetization, we get that player for "free" (in-game value aside) but we have to watch a video.
If the second is true, the game is still charging coins. Did I understand it wrong or is there a bug with the android app?

You are probably getting it wrong. Yes there's the normal way of buying players (from the transfer list, the scout and negotiating with teams in your league) and then there's the ''Special Offer'' feature where the system gives you players for almost the same price as their value but to buy players you have to pay 1 boss coins except for the scout where you pay 15 coins.
Watching promotional videos only gift boss coins and not free player offer!

Yeah, maybe I'm getting it wrong, although I don't think so. Can you please explain to me the meaning of the blue button, where there is the price and the symbol of the video?

Yes, they are right!! it offer to buy a player, with a video instead of spending BC, the video is played entirely, but you are discounted BC anyway.It is a deception!

The reason for this is a delay on the reward, which happens sometimes due to the dependency of an external network.
What happens is the video rewards you with 1 BC, and the transfer costs you 1 BC. This should both happen at the same time so the player is ''free'', but the rewarding of 1 BC might take longer (seconds, minutes, or new session). So in fact you always get the 1BC reward, but it might not always happen at the same time. -
