Other manager slots

So i used to play few years ago when they was option for other slots with having premium account. But now it isn't and i have a question. You need to play for certain amount of days before opening other slots. But one of manager in my league started playing 2 days ago and he have all 4 slots open. How? Is there another way to open then or what?

The normal procedure is to wait until slots are unlocked, but if users get invites to join leagues, they can unlock slots in advance!
