Scouting issue

For example I'm playing in the Italy league and and I want Dybala who is in Juventus. But let's say Juventus manager sold Dybala to Real Madrid. How do I scout Dybala then? Should I send the scout to Spain?

In this case, it's not possible to scout Dybala because the scout only brings players from their original country/league and since you're playing in Italy you won't be able to scout players from the Italian league.
The only way you can get Dybala is if the engine puts him on the transfer list which is almost unlikely.
