Turns out that they have disabled it because they are working on a newer version of crew chat, check this thread out.

Crew chat hasn't been disabled yet, you could try to remove cookies/cache/temp files to see if that works.

Since crew chat will be disabled in the near future it will not be fixed if the above doesn't work.
