Scouting Bug?

I scouted 90+ Defenders as a test to see what options i have and the ones i wanted to get from the results were Hernandez and Sule..Now the problem is i used the scout only as a test which means i didnt have money to buy them and when the scout time expired and i sent him again to try and find me the players they didnt show up anymore. Now the thing is i had other options too within the 2 of them and they didnt show up too..but only random ones who didnt meet the scouting criterias at all. Is this a bug? (No one from my league has any of the defenders i got as results from scouting). Is there any way i can get these players back? (note that i sent the scout back a lot of times to try and find me the players and yet they still didn't show up)
