Username change feature

I think this feature can be very useful.
OSM users should be able to change their user name at any time.
I'm waiting for your help with this.

i agree with you but if we have the feature, hackers will change its user name too after the hacker does cheat so it will be hard to ban them.

We had this question/request coming from other managers too in the past but unfortunately it is not doable.
Firstly for the protection of a manager's personal account and secondly for avoiding confusing situations and maintaining the well-being of the whole OSM community.
