This really doesn’t answer my question Sophie mate. All these in the screen shots are crews in the same division but we can’t play them anymore I think? Us and Alliance it seams we can’t play another crews apart from each other and think it’s the “crew medals” difference? I’m wanting to know how many crew points difference between crews so we could play? I’m guessing between 1.5k and 2k but I’d like to know please the exact amount if that’s possible.

Yes Jeff, one of the basic criteria is the total amount of each Crew in Medals. Medals = BPs ( Battle Points )
I thought this was obvious.Say if we’re 2k medals in front of the next crew behind us, would we not find a crew at all? I would like to know the exact amount of medals when it would stop us playing or searching for a crew if us or Alliance didn’t want to play each other anymore please? If one of us stopped searching at this point would we get another battle against someone else?
Jeff I have to try and make you see some basic differences among the Crews :

Not every Crew has the maximum amount of members , which is 24 as we speak.

Not every Crew is able or willing or is as passionate as IDAS in order to create non-stop 4 different Crew battle teams.

The majority of the Top 100 Crews , as you can see for yourself , belongs to the Legend Division.
But the engine is trying to give equal and fair chances to every Crew and manager.
a) If the Crews that are closest to yours in Medals of course are not even searching for 4 different battle teams then how do you expect to find a new opponent for 4 different battles ?
b) If the Crews that have huge difference in Medals were matched with your battle teams or Alliance's , even though all of you belong in the same Division , then OSM would get many unhappy managers and battlers. Don't you agree?I am sorry but I'm in no position to share with you the exact numbers or range that the match-making system uses. All you can do is to wait for more Crews to start searching for a new battle or to get closer to your amount of Medals and make a good match for both sides.

We been searching for a battle since Sunday the 20th October. It’s now Thursday 24th! Eagles of Kosovo (in 9th) started 2 battles today, Luso (in 7th and TURK (in 6th). How do we miss all these crews? We’ve only looked at the crews near us that have been ending and sure we missed loads more. I don’t really think it’s fair being punished for being in 2nd and having played less battles than loads of crews round us

Especially the bit where we’re waiting for 2 battles (one 10days and one 4days) and 4th in the ranking gets a battle against 23rd with 2,412 medals/battlepoints difference.IDAS in 2nd and the 4th rank crew difference in medals is only 1328 and we was searching when they got matched. How is this fair matching?
Who sorts these battles out because this is just one valid point out of many that these battles are not being matched fair? Could someone who knows how the matching works please PM me or post on here. I feel our crew isn’t getting a fair roll of the dice and these statistics prove that.

I stumbled upon this topic and now I'm a bit intrigued too. My crew regularely get opponents from top 20 (my last opponents are 15th), while we are around 70th place, that 2000+ bp difference. It doesn't seem like an equal level to me, unless everyone in the 3000bp range is equal, in that case seems like most of top 100 can play randomly.

Me and Ermal have proven that these battles are not getting matched up fairly, we are seeing crews just below us getting crews lower ranked while we have been searching. It’s not just the odd battle, it’s loads now and very laughable. I wouldn’t mind but we’re not even 1st and don’t have a big lead on other crews! Nobody can or will tell us

First of all I would like to thank you all for your posts.Jeffy like you said already and thank you for that, I have tried to help you guys out with everything there is known about the CB matching. I believe though I missed mentioning one detail about it.
You have to know that only one battle team at a time should be set on search for a match making.
For example : if your crew has already 2 battles ongoing then you should start searching for a third battle with only one team, wait for the engine to find your 3rd opponent and afterwards proceed to your 4th attempt.As for the exact ranges of the match making , could you guys make your suggestions about them ?
Because Jeffy as you could see from Ivan's post while you find it hard to have 4 crew battles at the same time, others complain about the range difference of their own battles and find the match making unfair.
So could we please talk about it and share opinions and thoughts about this matter here ?Question : Which range do you guys think would be ideal , fair and work best for all crews ? Meaning difference in Medals ( +/- ) between crews to be matched for an upcoming battle.

Answer to your example:-
We’re only searching one at a time Sophie mate. Soon as one is found out our last team will start searching ASAP. That’s how we have been doing it, I even booted someone yesterday and started searching again with just the one team as we didn’t find a crew in over a week.As for examples to search I’m unsure, we only watch crews in the top 10 when their battles reset hoping we get one of them and haven’t looked past the top 10ranked and somehow they’re missing us and playing lower ranked crews. I’m sure they would love to play us instead and a chance to catch up.
Think the top 10 should be done slightly different to be honest. For example 2k medals difference to lower ranked crews can get a lot higher ranked and jump lots of places in searching. But 2k difference in the top 10 is isn’t much at all between the higher ranked crews. So maybe top 10 searching could be done differently (from 1st to 10th is over 2.5k battlepoints difference at the minute.

@jeffro-davies Our view is to match the battles by taking into account the rankings of the teams instead of the medal difference in team battles.
For example; Teams between the first and tenth place should be able to easily match each other when they seek a battle.
If the teams between the first and tenth places do not have a seek a battle, then there may be a match, taking into account the difference in medals with the other teams.
While we were in the first place in my old team, we had problems in this regard.

26th- 50th etc....@jeffro-davies I don't think that this should be the only factor which decides about one's upcoming opponent. If we want to have a fair and reasonable matchmaking, we have to consider the current win streak of a crew. Crews with equal or almost equal win streaks (+/- 1 or 2) should be able to play against each other WITHIN an extended medal range, e.g. 5k.
