It's not an excuse, but to collect the info for this event, I have to get info from several tables and two of them are just the biggest ones on the whole OSM.

WC list update

At this exactly moment, we have:

129 managers confirmed .
0 managers refused the WC invitation.
We have 33 reserves.
16 managers have no problem about being league moderator and send invitations if it's needed.

Deadline is 18/06 around 18:00 UTC Time. Then, all free places are automatically assigned to reserves who confirmed his/her place, by manager points recollected order. I will send a message to those managers who get a place due to this reason.

Accept/Decline: Until 18/6/2020
Make groups: Between 22/6/2020 and 23/6/2020

1st round: 25/6/2020 - End 1st round: 21/7/2020
Semifinal: 24/7/2020 (Provisional) - End Semifinal: 19/8/2020
Final 21/8/2020 (Provisional) - End Final 16/9/2020

WC leagues - Main rules

All OSM Rules must be followed.
Break rules can be punished with lost of league points, be disqualified from competition or be suspended/locked, depends on the seriousness of the matter.
You can set a player in different position (Except GKs and GK position) but never do it in order to benefit other manager.
Features like friendlies are up to each manager to decide how many they do per round.
If you find another manager breaking any rule, just let me know (Markez17) by private message.

Any chance we will be able to see the looks of the teams (number of players, quality of players) couple days before start? Would be nice If we could tactically prepare if there will be some weird teams as they used to be sometimes in past (defense and midfield players rated around 60, and attackers rated over 90)

It's always a surprise and nobody know (Except the one who set those random ratings and it's not me) until leagues will be created!

This time I'm not the one to blaim

Edit: But I agree with him The best manager is not the one that always play with same tactic. The best manager is the one that is able to cope with any challenge that can be presented at him. That's also the reason why OSM WC doesn't have transfers, so users can't change teams to the style they are used to play with. Some are luckier than others, because squads go into their managing style.... But at the end the manager quality should prevail!

WC 2020 list update

Deadline is over, we have:

137 managers confirmed .
0 managers refused the WC invitation but 19 managers didn't answer, so they won't take part of this edition.
We have 34 reserves and 19 of them already got the message to confirm they are in.
More than 20 managers have no problem about being league moderator and send invitations if it's needed.

@Rafelmaz Similar thing for me as well. I have played in 3 editions (2012, 2013, 2014) but havent been playing since, due to various reasons. Now Its time to try this big challenge one more time

I just send a PM to each manager qualified with information about 1st round and league moderator!
Don't forget that, 25th June, leagues will be created automatically during morning and each league moderator will send invitations as soon as they can, be patient.

Of course, G13 are the best from WC 2019 final + The 8 managers with more MP during qualification period for the actual edition! They are going to play the league for fun and see in which semifinal they will get a place, as you all know

List for sending out invites for G7 is ready in my "friends list" and everyone will get invites on Thursday morning as soon as possible. Best of luck to everyone!
