the game engine is broken
-
@uchenna-a - Maybe it was bad luck. Maybe computer tactics were better. Maybe your players had low morale or fitness and computer had better stats. Maybe it was an away game. Maybe it was just normal. You can't expect your OSM 'team' to win every singled game. Do you see any other team winning every single game in the prem or Bundesliga? It's normal to lose a game however bad it may seem.
-
@Suleman____f Yeah I see Liverpool winning almost all of their games and drawing a few. They have shown it is possible to not lose any games, and they have only lost 1 premier league in their last 50. Maybe his tactics were bad, but I still think the game engine is terrible, really trash, and broken.
-
@uchenna-a - So the UCL loss doesn't count?
Liverpool is getting carried by VAR in my opinion. If it wasn't for VAR they'd be like 3rd or 4th. (Irrelevant topic from me tbh) -
Also, I lost 4-0 at home to Zenit St Petersburg while playing with Dynamo Moscow. My team had almost 200 million more squad value and I had won the first match 1-0 at their home. I used the same tactics I used in the first game but I lost 4-0 even though Zenit did not have a training camp and their tactics hadn't changed since I had won 1-0 against them. They were a managed team, and My morale and fitness were all 95 and higher. ABSOLUTELY unrealistic.
-
@Bahadır-K Since when that's a garantee for a win?
Having 15 shots on goal doesn't mean that they are going in the goal.
If the oponent has a better tactic then that team still is able to win from a higher rated oponent. -
@Suleman____f I said only 1 loss in their last 50 premier league games, not including Uefa champions league since those are against teams from other leagues. I mentioned the 1 loss because you said "Do you see any other team winning every single game in the prem"
-
@uchenna-a - Still can be compared to english teams tho. For example Barcelona is Man City etc
-
@Suleman____f I really understand what you mean. What do you mean by Barcelona is Man City?

@uchenna-a - You can't just say that's an instant win, anything can happen in the game.
-
@uchenna-a if you compare a foreign club to an english club, they're on similar levels tbh
-
@Suleman____f I didn't say it was an instant win tho.
-
@Suleman____f I guess it depends on what English team and foreign team you are comparing.

@uchenna-a - Its cuz you said 'absolutely unrealistic' so i assumed you thought you'd get an instant win.
-
@Suleman____f I was talking about my example of my 4-0 loss against Zenit St Petersburg when managing Dynamo Moscow and I listed why it was unrealistic.
-
@uchenna-a - Tbh just cuz you beat someone in a league once, doesn't mean you'd beat em again. I beat my mate 5-0 in a league match and when we met again, i lost 4-1 but had 2 players sent off. BUT i get your point.
-
@Suleman____f It just really pissed me off because the other team hadn't gotten better or used new tactics from the game I beat them at their home. They didn't have a training camp or any new players, and I didn't get any bookings and I lost 4-0

this is my major issue with the game. the managers don't have, in theory, anything that can boost them up and still they end up beating bigger teams with ridiculous scorelines, in real life that just does not happen as often as it does in this game. the engine has this rock-paper-scissors thing where some tactics are just useless against others, regardless of the team's value. it's a joke
-
@peenagees Yeah I agree. Sometimes small teams beat big teams, but it just happens so much in OSM that it is ridiculous. The game engine is so random, and I know this may be hard to improve, but I think something needs to be changed with this absolute trash, terrible, and broken game engine.
-
@peenagees Also I think tactics impact on whether you win or get trashed is just too big and ridiculous in OSM. Even though tactics have a large impact in real life when two teams of similar quality play, I don't think tactics have as much as an impact in real life as they do in OSM when a big team plays a small team. It still remains that even when a small team has better tactics than a big team, the scorelines that a small team wins by in OSM is just stupid. The impact of tactics is just ridiculous and unrealistic in OSM, and I think the objective for OSM should be realism, and I don't think they are reaching that objective with their absolute trash, terrible, and broken game engine.

You keep repeating the same words over and over again ( and not just you mate ) , so let me ask you a couple things.
If the game engine is a complete failure then how come you got this kind of winning ratio?
How did you get 20 championships and 19 Cups? Why do we get to see 1256 winning matches on your game profile instead of lost ones?
And what are you trying to achieve by blaming the OSM engine for every loss that you get? After all it is the same engine that every manager on OSM is using therefore we all get the same chances for wins or losses. Am I right?
Why do you guys keep using this forum in such a negative way, throwing meaningless accusations on this topic about the game engine instead of trying to benefit and interact with each other by for instance presenting actual examples of lost matches with screen shots of those matches's results.
You could have a real discussion here, a creative conversation about your match results, your tactics and maybe just maybe this way you could exchange your ideas and thoughts about them, learn new things, get inspired by fellow managers , get improved and eventually try a different approach for goodness sake on your future settings and tactics.
