Transfers Delayed By Snow?

Anyone else finding that when they select a player to sell, set the fee and click confirm, that there is a major lag in receiving conformation and for the pop-up screen to disappear? Is this due to snowfall? Or is it just that we're getting "the wrong kind of snow" in Pennsylvania?
