While checking one of my players I miss clicked on the button to sell him unfortunately, is there anything I can do to get him back?

If you sold him to another club on your league
, despite seeming unlikely due to what you said (as it seems that you selected to sell him instantly, you can make an offer for him starting on the next matchday (if you haven't signed any other player from that same team earlier on that same matchday). -
