Critical problem caused by system

Good moring everyone
There was an offer to buy Franz Beckenbauer in 442oons Super League and i sell two players instantly to get this legendary defender and when it was added to my squad it was added to the forwards so i'm in a big trouble as my plans to my squad is now nearly destroyed .
what should i do now ?
I'm in shortage of defenders as one of the sold players was a defender.
Could any one help ?I really appreciate taking from your time to read this post .
