Private league invitations and starting moment

I am thinking about creating a private league so only me and my friends can join. But how does that work exactly? Do I get an invite-link that I can give them so they can join?
And furthermore, what happens if people don't join? So for example, I make the league today and I see people that join in two days so I let them join on that day. Does that mean that the pre-season will already start with only me in the league? And will that maybe affect some functionality like the transfermarket or something or is there some kind of "everyone is in"-button.
Because I imagine you can get an advantage if the league automaticaly starts from the moment you create it since you have more days for training and transfers. Or is it even made impossible that a private league starts with just 1 active manager? -

you can go to the tab "friends" and invite as many people as you like until the league is full

pre-season will already start with only you in the league; when you turn on the "pre-season", it lasts, depending on luck, from 72 to 96 hours
And will that maybe affect some functionality like the transfermarket or something or is there some kind of "everyone is in"-button.
not sure that clearly understand that part, but i think answer is no; you can customize your league as you wish
