I'm not going to complain, just want to share with you my last battle game from tonight
.
I was Hajduk, my opponent Dynamo. My team had 11 strength points more (all strengths of the respective 11 players added)... So we were almost equal in strength....1110 vs 1099.
I played at home with stadium level 3. I also had the country bonus with 7 players from one country in the starting eleven. My opponent played without bonus. And I had all 11 positions exactly lined up, my opponent 10. All my players were fit, at the opponent 4 or 5 players not anymore and at least already green.
I lost the game 0:1. I 433A, my opponent 523A. However, I was clearly better in the stats. 14:3 shots, 12:4 corners, 60:40 possession. And the worst player of all 22 players together scored the winning goal
.
Was probably just bad luck probably
.... Or?
-
One more game now in the battle
So gives challenge...
-
Best game ever!
-
@markusrw5
Did you win this game?
-
Lost 1-2
-
I'm glad that wasn't my game
. Another example of how hard OSM can be
.
Cup semifinal in our crew league . The home team was about 10 points weaker, all players combined, had the much weaker goalie and also weaker forwards, with home advantage. Neither had a country bonus. And still won the game
.
But as they say here in Germany.... The cup has its own laws
.

@bembelmän Im telling you, this game is 80% luck (loto) and 20% meritocracy.

SpecialOne created this topic but didn't answer anymore to any of us.
This is not a topic to report issues with simulations...
This is a topic for everone that feels the need to express his frustration because he wasn't lucky, because someone was better than him even with a weaker team and a way defensive tactic managed to beat him
Idea of this topic was to gather managers talking about the reasons that could lead to a result completelly different of the expected.
I wonder what's the point of opening a topic to express frustrations if none of the admins give feedback?
I think the dialogue between the managers is useful but if there is only that it is normal that the managers believe that the results of the games are random. -
@ado-hackovic no

It's clear that OSM rewards amateur coaches even if they deserve to be defeated
The difference in strength in my favor was 95, and the 83 opponent who scored the goal was 69 Although my goalkeeper strength is 95.
All we take from that should improve the offensive line -
@ahmḛɗ-khalḛɗ10 Dude, I think this was more so due to tactics. Your opponent was using 4-2-3-1 against your 4-3-3 A.
4-2-3-1 is quite good for defense, as it forms 3 triangles on the pitch. With a wide midfield, it would be difficult for your 3 forwards to break through it to score. Also, if your midfielders push forward and your opponent counter-attacks, that would create more good chances to score. Your goalkeeper might've been really good- but that doesn't mean that it will always stop the goals from weaker forwards. One more thing, if the goal was scored in the second leg, then it might also be due to your tired players, cause it's known that playing against 4-2-3-1 is tiring and that's why clubs like PSG and Barcelona adopt this formation. -

I know this my friend, and usually I don't play offensive line against 4231, but the difference in strength was so great that the opponent put the line-up 10 hours before the match and doesn't care if he wins or loses
