WE CAN'T START OUR NEW LEAGUE

My friends and I have been playing this game for years and it is the first time that I encountered such a big problem. Our league has come to an end and our league moderator created a new league as an extension to the first one with a discount. Now our 1st league ended and we should be playing the other league but it does not allow us to enter in the league. It says join the moderator, but even the moderator himself cannot join in the league he created. The first league which has ended seems like it did not end and that's why we cannot play the other league I believe. What should we do to get over this bug?
