Avatar update

After a year or 2 since the update, may I kindly ask at least to add some aditional flags as possible avatars? Let's say my country Croatia for instance - one of the oldest (I believe its the oldest) crews in the game is my crew Proud to be Croat - it exists for over 16 years in the game, I think It would be nice to have the option to have our national flag as avatar.
I know that by numbers us Croatian managers are maybe not in the top percentage of users, but there is plenty of activity from our country and also our country has won 2 medals in 2 last FIFA World Cups.. I think it deserves to have the flag option - dont you? Specially since almost all scandinavian countries have that option even though by the ratio of manager users I dont think they are much more active than Croatia.

@Majstor-Matt I think they should add all the flags in the world. It shouldn't be that hard to make all the flags

Some little variety and national colours we had with World Cup avatars is now gone... back to basic avatar selection with beautifull choice of 15 different avatars -_-

^Anything in regards to this avatar reduction? Will we ever get any more options or are we stuck with these pointless couple ones we have? Why cant there be an option to put at least any flag of the world if you ahve some already selected?

18 months passed. Nothing new added permanently.. at least flags of all nation around the world? Why mentioning that something new will be added if nohing is being done towards that

I have a question regarding uploading a profile photo of myself.
I am logged in with Facebook on OSM, but my profile photo is not uploaded and I only have the choice of standard avatars.
Does anyone know how I can upload my own profile photo?

Hi there,
You can't upload your own profile picture anymore. Due to GDPR rules (privacy law) this has been removed and now we have only standard avatars.

@Mehdsko17_NL Dont expect much, they promised "new and exciting" avatars more than 2 years ago. All we got is reduced number of basic game avatars
So obviously they do not care about personality and individual aspect of the game, only boss coins spending is priority. -
So, I like that they put something new in the avatar, but it was either out of adjustment or it wasn't the best style to use for the avatar.

@FC-Eddie_NL Sorry, but this is bullshit. You have an explicit consent of a person, when they upload their own picture. (Art. 6 No. 1 lit. a GDPR)

So, 2 more years later and we still havent got any aditional flags. We got some basic new profile pictures (for crew nothing though) but that is simply not good enough. OSM should really invest some time in customization and give more option to users in specific areas.. this monotony is killing the game that has decent potential... -
@SpecialOne, you did mention before that there are plans to merge the 2 servers which i have to admit will be exciting. However, can i ask what they are planning to bring in future updates?

As you may know (at least we hope you do), no one more than us wants the game to be successful. Unfortunately nowadays there're a lot of restrictions and things we must observe to avoid 'punishments'/fines from regulators.
There's a lot being done and made behind the scenes to comply with regulations and most of those things are not visible to users.
Things that were on the game had to be removed, others possible to keep but changed a lot... all this requires a lot of man power and time.
Some new things have been implemented. As in every change thee are some that like and some that dislike. We can never please all the users...
There're some projects being worked, but again, not all are visible to community, but some of those projects are preparing OSM for easier implementation of 'bigger' things, but.... We should have some new stuff pretty soon
