Highlighted players in the starting line-up and end of season training
-
Hi all. Been a member since 2007 but never asked the questions.
-
At the end of the season it has always said you can continue to train one player (If accepting a winners cup ticket) but how do you do it. I have treied every option and in no way can I find it.
-
In your starting line-up sometimes your player is highlighted differently from the others even when on a similar rating. i thought at first it was cards against them but no. Can someone explain the highlighting system to me.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Assuming you are refering to the webversion of OSM: some pages are hidden after the last match of the season has been played. You can still go to that page by typing in the correct url. If you want to keep training your players then you have to type in Training after the / (slash) in the url.

If you are refering to the outline of the players:
Green = player is placed on the exact same position as his favorable position (an LW is placed on the LW position)
No outline = player is placed on the correct line but not on his favorable position (an RM is placed on the CM position)
Red = player is placed on the wrong line (a midfielder is placed on any of the offensive positions, defensive positions or as a goalkeeper)If you are refering to the backgrounds:
Blue = normal
Blue/Gold = World Star (100+ rating)
Black = In Form player -

Training a Player: After accepting a Winners Cup ticket at season's end, the option to continue training one player usually appears during the off-season, before the new season starts. Look for a specific section in your training or Winners Cup area to select a player for continued training. This option is only available if you accept the Winners Cup ticket.
Player Highlighting: Highlighting in your starting line-up often indicates a player's special status like unique skills, high morale/form, recent strong performance, tactical importance, or a designated role. The exact reason varies by game, so knowing the game's name would allow for a more specific explanation.
