iOS | Can't start App - "Oops - Something went wrong"

Hello OSM Support Team,

I am facing an issue with launching the game. When I try to open OSM, I receive the following error message:

"Oops – Something went wrong with launching OSM. Please come back later."

Device: iPhone

Please advise me on how to solve this issue.

Hi there,

We're sorry that you're having issues when starting App, but the info provided by you is not enough for us to help you.

Most of the times (if not all) this error happens, it's due to old accounts deleted for inactivity or locked due to breaking OSM terms.

Do you remember if you had another account on that iPhone?

The one you're using here was just created and on Web, so this isn't the one for sure.

Thank you for your reply. I used to play OSM before on my iPhone with another account, but now I cannot log in and I only managed to create this new one on Web.

Could you please help me recover my old account?
But i don’t have any information about it.

We've no way to find out which account you had before.

If your last login on OSM was more than 3 years ago, account was permanently deleted and it's not possible to recover. Same, if you deleted accunt or account was locked due to breach of OSM terms.

If any of the above happened, turning off gamecentre and/or reinstall App should do the trick and you can start OSM again. Then you can log on this account by selecting the login option
