I have an Xbox Series X, a PS5 and a OLED Switch, but the Switch is pretty much collecting dust. I currently play The Outer Worlds 2 and Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, a full 3D remake of the very first Trails game that originally came out on the Playstatiion Portable.
My favorite game this year is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Really a masterpiece with a great story, dialog, world, and artstyle and an amazing soundtrack.
I also write and am an editor for a small Dutch website, so I review a number of games each year. Avowed, The Outer Worlds 2, Digimon Story Time Stranger, Keeper, The Precinct and Echoes of the End are some of the games that I have reviewed this year.
The Mass Effect trilogy is still my most favorite RPG series of all time, so I crave for the next Mass Effect game, but that will take some more years probably. With Exodus and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn there are two Mass Effect style sci-fi RPG's coming in 2026/2027, so I'm looking forward to them both. Also, a new Trails game is coming in January and I'm also looking forward to GTA 6.
