So I just played against the 2 strongest team and they activated training camp and I didn't think I needed to because I didn't think it would make his team 2.5X stronger. I have always thought this game is based on stats and tactics. so how much does training camp affect your team?

A training camp gives a boost of somewhere around 25%. During the Trainingcamp Terror event the boost is a little bit higher.

@FC-Eddie_NL 25% of 1197 is about just below 300, making his team's value about 1500. The players' fitness was not at full thus they aren't able to play to their full potential algorithmically. I have come to believe this game's algorithm has many weak spots.

Sure, the algorithms in OSM might have some flaws, but I think you are smart enough to understand that it doesn't fully rely on teamvalue, but that there are a lot of other factors at play. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
