How do finances work?

Hi, I'm new to this game. This is the third day I'm playing and I didn't receive any Sponsormoney or Gate Receipts twice already. I'm a bit confused on how this works. Yesterday I played a home game. Today I'll be playing an away game. I currently have 4 Sponsors. Can someone please clarify how the below is possible?

Hi there, welcome to OSM and this forum.
You will only receive the money from sponsors and gate receipts if you are playing a home match. It will be zero if you play an away match. As for sponsors, you do need to select at least one of the offers received for sponsorship deals. Otherwise it will be zero when you play a home match aswell.
So if this screenshot is from today and you will play an away match, then this is correct and you will only receive the fixed income.
