Hi there,
To change your flag in the OSM app you just have to tap on the cogwheel on the homepage. There you can select your country.
As for the news section: I think you will have to remove the OSM app and re-install it to 'fix' that. News should be added automaticaly when there is some new news, so perhaps this is caused by outdated data. Make sure you have a way to log back in your account before you uninstall it or otherwise you will lose acces to your account. Either by using a password or having your account connected via a social connection (Facebook, Apple Game Center or Google Play)
If simply uninstalling and re-installing doesn't solve it then try the following steps:
- Uninstall the OSM app
- Remove all app data
- Restart your phone
- Install the OSM app again

- what is the version of the operating system you use? (for example: Android 10, iOS 16)
- what is the version of the OSM app that is installed on your phone?

Have you also tapped on 'Account' at the top of settings page? Perhaps it's listed there?
I have an Android phone myself and in the OSM app I am able to change the country. So I'm assuming you should also be able to do that in the OSM app on iOS.

I rarely check the OSM app.@patser_NL is correct. You can't change your nationality in the OSM app. That is only possible when you play on the webversion. My apologies.
