Any nostalgic managers still playing OFM?

@tommy-timbers It was brilliant. As far as club anthems go, Sunshine on Leith has to be the best. I am probably a bit biased towards my club but it really is special. Hope Spurs can put on a show next season - they're good to watch but surely (Don't call me Shirley!
) this squad is due some silverware.
Hope you are having a good time in Pittsburgh and glad your team are going strong. Really is great to hear from you! Take care

@vin莽ent贸-be莽ker_nl You can say what you want but I have changed.

I had many wonderful years on this game and, via the forums, made many good friends along the way, who I鈥檓 sorry I had to desert a few years ago. I鈥檓 glad to see that they are not entirely forgotten - indeed some of you are still knocking about in here!
I will always think of OFM fondly and was pleased to do my bit behind the scenes, as it were. It was largely thankless work of course with no real material reward to show for the hours we all put in (apart from the Christmas card and Doerak plush toy
) and yet I honestly do look back on my days here with a smile.
I must say how sad I was though to hear the news about Frank. Without him, none of these memories would exist. We rarely spoke (on account of Frank and Jeroen being a bit like royalty - except they actually did some work, unlike actual royalty) so our paths didn鈥檛 often cross, but when they did he was always friendly, open and grounded. I am thinking of him and his family at the moment, and how far reaching his efforts in life were, in terms of the treasured imprint this game has left on the memories of a handful of people dotted around the globe such as I. It鈥檚 a pretty cool legacy to leave. Sleep well Frank.
Gary, Matt, Albino, Ken, Paul, Adam, Diar, Xristos, Ruby - it鈥檚 great to see your names floating around albeit under unfamiliar aliases in some cases! I hope you鈥檙e all doing OK.
Take care everyone. Till the next reunion

@ed-clarke Nice to see you around Ed!
There's quite some time. How's life treating you my friend? Are you back to some more fun on OSM?
-
I used to be active around 2011-2012. I remember when the Forums were very active and much better than they are today. What happened?

@ed-clarke Different alliances for sure. I like this allias I must say. This WrinkledPaulsack guy used to be one of Scotlands top ranked managers haha. Good to see you around. Glad all is well
-
@wrinkledpaulsack haha I think I was almost top 100 in England and switched to Nigeria nationality so I could dominate the rankings (I'm Nigerian so I can get away with it)
-
@otis90 Yeah you were a very good manager. Got the hang of the new game engine yet mate? Joined a league for the first time in years!
Wish I could have my pwhibs62 account back? Moderators, is anyone willing to reopen this account for me?

@king_jamiu_10 No problem mate. It used to be possible a while back. Just wanted to see my history really. Had thousands of games on that account! haha

Eugene ( https://forum.onlinesoccermanager.com/user/e-u-g-e-n-e ), formerly known by the username E69PRO, and I are trying to organize some sort of OSM Xmas reunion league for older managers. In something like 2 weeks we are planning to open a league in Nostalgian Cup A where we would try to get as many "nostalgic" managers to join us there so we all could play together and have fun in the honour of the good old days of OSM
We already created a chatroom for the league where we are trying to see If we will manage to find enough interested managers to join us, so If you are interested feel free to PM Eugene or me and give us your thought wheter you'd be interested in some kind of league like that
