Why don't players over 100 overall sell?

I was wondering why 100 overall and higher players never sell, even if you put their price on;y 15 million above their original value. I don't think it is luck because the only time they sell is during the"higher chance at selling players weekend event." Why don't they ever sell?

I'm sorry if it is hard for you to believe that transfers do work randomly and that trying to sell the most expensive players in a top league makes it even harder.
