About the Dream Team achievement

I was wondering if anyone knew what league, preferable objective teams, and managing style would be best to get the 1 billion team value dream team achievement. I was almost able to do this with Bournemouth, having a 907 million squad value. So does anyone know the best way to get this achievement without having to choose a team already taken?

@uchenna-a - I did this achievement in the 442oons league with Managers FC as all players are already 88+ and if you sell for high value (and negotiate with other teams) you could end up with a billion pound + team!

@Suleman____f How many players did you have in your squad? Because I had a 730 million squad value Managers FC in 442oons league with a full squad of all-star players but I still couldn't reach one billion.

@uchenna-a you train the players, you buy and sell often the players. You buy inly young players. The easiest way ist. You take Manchester City, sell old players, buy young players...

I'm kinda nervous because in the last week I haven't sell any of my players. My squad is pretty ok at the moment, but I'm really nervous if I'm going to make it. At the moment, my squad is worth 727M and it's a 21st day of a total 43. Still more than quater of a billion to go ... I have a little more than 51M in my piggy bank at the moment.

Do you think I have a chance to get my squad to be worth more than 1 billion?

@Ado-Hackovic Is it better to train already the highest-rated players or to train players that a bit weaker and getting them higher rated. For example, is it better to train players from 101 to 102 rating or players from 107 to 108? Does it make a difference? It's easier to get low rated players better than the players that are already rated high.

So maybe a combination of both low rated players and high rated ones would help the growth of a squad value in the best way ?

@SUPERNOVA-8 In my opinion, selling players at a high price to get even better players is beneficial. For example since Managers FC was 88+ in ratings every player you'd generate over 25 million per sale and use it to buy higher rating players. Then you could sell your less rated players on your team list for max price too and so on

But of course, you're absolutely right Sully. After all that's one of the key factors for a proper Squad building. We try to sell our low skilled players for the highest possible prices and look out for better ones ; high skilled players in reasonable prices or even better for real bargains!
And after that the second key factor is the progression of our players via their Training sessions & Friendly matches. And like was mentioned earlier, the ideal players to get best trained are the youngest ones and the ones with skills between 90 to 100+
This way you can keep a good balance in your players's skills and at the same time achieve a great growth in your team values.

@SUPERNOVA-8 Mid aged players should not have such a disadvantage to young players IMO. There should be a difference but right now the difference is too drastic. A player at age 28, when players are usually in their prime, is worth nothing against a player aged 20. I get that young player will, of course, learn more things but not as drastically as it is now. Percentages of development shouldn't be so different as they are now.

@Urbunnya Emm sorry , but I think you have jumped into a different subject. Thought we were talking about squad building here and how to reach a Billion Squad value. It is a game , no need to compare it in every level with real life football. Younger players on OSM get the best training results. While older players often make better Specialists. Simple as that.
