As for playing defensively, this is what happened Sof. No help against luck and OP part of TC's..

Nobody ever said that countering a TC is an easy job. But if someone can do it then it's you Doc! 
And are you trying to tell me that the 442A is your best defensive formation against the offensive 442B ?
You used reckless tackling on a green Ref which was great!
But how come you didn't choose a different formation , like a 451 or a 541, or a 5311 or a 631 , with plenty of defenders on your line up? It's a TC for goodness sake.
Even if you had double value in your line up compared to your opposition you should react as if you were on the weakest side. After all it's a big boost , not 2% , not 5% , it's 25% mate. Since you prefer not to use TCs then I'd expect you to build up your squad in way that you would have your defenders reinforced and your pitch level upgraded. Something changed these days, an update may happened seems more easy to get an away win so overall till now on this short time seems fine! About the away matches, I have to disagree with you.
It is always and still much harder to get an away win imo but not impossible if you use the right tactics.
If you want we could talk with numbers. You could share a screen shot showing for a example a battle league where the total Away won matches were more than the Home wins. And I say battle leagues cause at least in those every manager fights hard to win every match and no TCs are involved.
For example , this screen was taken from my last CB.
And I know for a fact that there have been mistakes on tactics for some of the Home matches , otherwise we would have seen even more Home wins.

After all I managed to reduce his attackers to 4 shots on goal, I cant do more than that. But whern TC gives you 75% accuracy you cant do anything against it..

All I'm saying is that since you have to fight back against TCs that often then shouldn't you prepare your team in a defensive way? Starting with more defenders on your squad building. But nevermind that, I have something else to propose to you. Oh you're gonna laugh now buddy but please think about it seriously as a very good option.
Why don't you join a Crew once again? This way you could still enjoy the pleasure of pure tactics in every CB and also have fun with the CLs. No more TCs, no more headaches and frustration.
That's what I am doing right now Matty, I chose to play the game I love in my own terms and I'm so happy about it!
After all, every manager on OSM is free to choose his gaming style, is free to choose to use TCs or not , is free to spend BCs or not to.

You can have back those competitive and fun days if you want. That's the whole point of the new 10 days CB system. -

@Bahadฤฑr-K Yeah even though last weekend I talked on this same issue multiple times, I still think that the game engine can be really strange and good at times. I guess that is why it is called a game engine, because it is based on a game that is and cannot always be realistic, with some luck and a lot of tactical decisions included in deciding who wins each game.

@SUPERNOVA-8 Good stuff, but from my experince those ultra defensive tactics work better against 343 and 433 than they do against 442 or 451.

Once again, an example of the strange game engine. I am playing careful tackling and the ref is yellow, I get no yellow cards ( no yellow cards always guaranteed with careful tackling) but concede 2 PENALTIES and the opponent concedes no penalties and was using normal tackling. I end up losing 3-1, and I could have drawn 1-1, or lost 2-1 and only conceded 1 penalty (which still would be strange), but no, I lose 3-1 instead. It was even more frustrating that I drew the team 1-1 at their home with exact same tactics from both teams and no training camps (matches happened in battle) with no penalties conceded, but I then lose 3-1 at my home by conceding 2 penalties, and I wasn't even playing agressive. Just so sad and strange...

Yellow Ref & Normal tackling ... Correct choice

The yellow Ref can be very tricky sometimes and that's nothing new mate... -
Once again, as Juventus, I lose 3-2 because I concede 2 PENALTIES and the opponent concedes none. Of course, the opponent scores both of them. I was using CAREFUL tackling and the opponent was using NORMAL tackling, and the REF WAS GREEN. The other team commits 12 fouls and gets one yellow card and I commit 4 fouls and no yellow cards, and I commit freakin 2 PENALTIES and I end up losing 3-2 when I should have won 2-1 or at least drawn 2-2, and now I fall from 1st to 2nd place. Why...just why....

@Ecotheafkguy - Maybe your team doesn't bond with the tactics, and maybe you had the wrong sliders which didn't match your opponents tactics
