How can I become a staff member?

Hi. I want to become a staff member for my country. (Romania). How can I do this?

You first start as forum moderator, then it's possible to be promoted to staff member. But keep in mind that very view will make it to staff.Helping around the forums to get noticed is a good start, of course if you awnser be sure you give the correct awnser.

Thanks for you answer, but how i can become a forum moderator? Ofcorse, beyond helping and being active on OSM forum, what else i have to do, to become a forum moderator.
