Any nostalgic managers still playing OFM?
-
I am doing very well too, thanks for asking.
It's definitely not the same as before but it is still a very good game to play in my opinion. Things can't always remain the same forever.

Well I’m Macca.. May have known me as The_King_Mac at the time?
Played for many many years as a member of The Rebels and and was staff at some point.
The amount of time I spent on this game back in the day was incredibleThere’s a huge chance I’ll post this and never even comeback to see any replies (if any) so feel free to follow me on twitter @MaccaRace 🤫

Great to see you again, I do remember your manager name.
If you want to be a part of the conversation, join the forum in my signature. Are you still playing OFM or just logging in to say hi?

First started playing back in 2007 but haven't been on this site for a few years. Decided to google it to see if it was still alive and here it is, I even remembered my username and password somehow! I can recall a few users from the old days here but not all of their names.

Hello there! Anyone remembers me? I had other acounts like "Entrenador Hispano" and "molina_torres". I had a post called "Dani's Creator" where I did some cool avatars for free. Well nice to see that people stills remembering the old nice days in OFM
-
@Undisputed Macca? It's Dani here 🥶

Just had another look at this topic and saw the list of old managers. Colino was Head Judge back when I started playing (as LordBinky) and I came to his/the staff's attention because of the number of cheat reports I was making. So I was recruited as a judge and absolutely loved that role. Back then we had the issue of multiple accounts on single IPs and some people creating hundreds of accounts for themselves. I would merrily spend hours trawling through the IP addresses and locking thousands of accounts, calling myself The Cheatfinder General.
My last memory of cfcpaul, if I remember correctly, was starting up The Management crew, with Hale and Pace as our logo. Felt like no sooner had we done that than he just packed the whole game in.
Anyone ever hear from them again?

Can't believe after all these years I still see some manager names I remember from the good old days. I was never very active on the English forums but spend quite a lot of time on the Dutch speaking forum (whent that was still a thing )
Hope everyone is doing well. However, it is kind of sad to see the forums are barely active nowadays.....

@bmg33 Great to see you around again mate. Do you intend on playing again or just passing by?

I remember everything you're talking about and I remember you! I've had the same username all along so I'm sure you would have seen it floating around from time to time. I've also spend quite some time on the staff team in many different roles, at one stage securing the Community Manager role too which would be the equivalent to the Admin role currently held by SpecialOne.
Great to see you're still around mate. Are you actively playing or just visiting?
cfcpaul, man he was a top bloke. He's the one that gave me the very first chance to join the staff team as a Judge back in 2007 and 2008. I haven't seen them around or heard from them since...

-
@gary-gomes Mate! good to see you also!
-
I'm Furrax.
-
Of course I remember you
I was talking to you before about the Arabic version
I miss the season ticket system and red premium tickets
i konw game in maktob yahoo
-
@ahmedwow2013 You may have to remind me because I don't remember...
Season tickets and premium season tickets were so good! I remember those good old days. Everything is made a lot simpler nowadays I think to cater to the majority of players. Change is good and we just have to adapt I guess. I still enjoy playing the game despite not being active on this forum or crew competitions.
-
@gary-gomes I remember tickets... also what was improved that when I started only 1 slot was for free for the rest you need to pay but I miss that you can choose server by yourself and that names of oldschool players
-
@jasiuk88 Yeah, selecting your own server was perfect and really helped get active managers in your leagues. Everything is based on location now so regardless of where you want to be, you can sometimes go in leagues with non-English speaking managers for example which bugs me a little bit.
I guess that can be resolved by asking for managers to join via the forum.
