Hello Gerry and welcome to the OSM game and its forums.
Are you trying to start playing with a new league? Does your favorite club look as taken all the time ?
Allow me to inform you about how the OSM game works then mate and don't feel forced to spend 200 boss coins if you don't want to or can't afford it.
Every manager has 3 options whenever he/she wants to start with a new league. I will use as example the English League because it's one of the most popular and most expensive leagues on OSM , due to the big amount of clubs involved.
- You can either spend 200 Boss coins - if you are in a hurry and wanna choose a specific club to manage . OSM ( computer ) will be the new league's moderator. Or...
- You can spend 400 Boss coins - and create your own new league from scratch, become the league's moderator and invite your own friends and choose your own settings for your game etc.
- You can spend no boss coins at all - but all you'll need is some patience and a good research at the total existing leagues , created from OSM or other managers.
How we do the research for a new league.
Attention! It is advised to use the browser version for this task :
This last pic was just an example. The results of our research differ from one day to another, cause new leagues are being created all the time and please avoid choosing your fresh league close to OSM simulation's times so that you won't miss any Preparation Day.
P.S. In my opinion you should take your time to do a good research first on the available leagues of the OSM game, there are so many after all, and then decide which one to choose. Of course the ideal is to find leagues on its fresh start, during the Preparation Day 1
( = 4 Pre Season days left ). This way you will get the chance to prepare and build up your squad by selling and buying new better players, train them etc.
