Transferring players between clubs

Hi,
I am in a league with one of my friends, I wanted one of his players and he wanted one of mine, so we negotiated and agreed a price, he would buy my player and I would buy his. Then once we tried to do this the game would not let us saying it was a violation of the terms. Is this violating the "collaboration between managers" term? Because this isn't in order to help or favour either of us (in fact its quite competitive between us!), but if it is a violation please let me know, it would be helpful to clarify.

@AmosWT98 Hi mate,
yes it is a violation of the OSM term number 8. The engine (transfer rule) is blocking your transfers because it's violating terms.
