the suspension/ban/lock will not be discussed via the forums and appeals will not be handled here.

Tell your friends to log in to their accounts and there they will find the option to appeal.

OSM TERMS are very clear, if you break the OSM TERMS (or one of the OSM TERMS) you will be locked/suspended/banned.
