Deducted Manager Medals For Winning Tournament

Yesterday I won the OSM Olympic Tournament with Argentina but I was deducted manager medals at the end of the tournament rather than being awarded medals. Is this going to be corrected? It is very frustrating as I am trying to climb my countries rankings but I am being punished for winning.

@di-tomasso-1984 This has to do with the overall performance of your team/matches during the season. If you have lost a lot of matches during the season then there isn't enough Manager Medals to pick up during the season to make up for them.
Hope that makes sense.
It has hit me once or twice as well. For example, I came first at the end of the season, won the cup and obviously met my goal with Panevezys however I lost 1,495 Manager Medals. This is because during that season I may have forgotten to log into OSM and therefore drew/lost matches which would cause me to lost a lot of Manager Medals.

Appreciate the response, and yes that makes perfect sense but that reasoning doesn’t apply to my situation. I won the Olympic tournament with Argentina, winning every match easily along the way. There is no reason why o should have been deducted manager medals.

For reference, today I won the Gold Cup with Canada and was awarded +782 manager medals but when I won the Olympics with Argentina the other day I was deducted -298 manager medals. It does not make any sense at all.

@di-tomasso-1984 Right, then that is quite random. Hopefully someone from the staff team can assist and address whether there was an underlying issue or reason. Good luck mate.

Did you lose or draw any game? How many managers you beat and how many CPU?

Above sentence is not accurate and that's the reason why you got negative medals value at the end of the tournament!
- You won 5 out of the 6 matches, being 3 of them against CPU teams (less medals than against human managers)
- You lost your third match against France (group stage)
I believe that table below will help you remember what happened on the tournament
