    Hello all

    I start playing this game a few weeks ago and spend a lot of real money in upgrading one of my teams.

    the board of my team said the goal of the season is to win Third place in the league at the end of the season,

    The question is, If I achieve this goal, will I be able to lead the same team I built in a new season or will all I do go away?

    thanks and waiting for your reply

    Hi there,

    Welcome to OSM and this forum 🙂

    As for your question: OSM is at it's core a one season game. That means that everything will reset after the last match of the season has been played. Your final place on the league table and any trophies you've won (winning the league and winning the cup) will be added to your profile, but you will lose the players that you have bought, the clubfunds you had in your possesion and any stadium upgrades you made. After a period of 24 hours you will have the possibility to choose a new team and try to do it all over again.

    However, in certain leagues (like the Dutch Eredivisie and the English Premier League) you will be able to participate in the Winners Cup if you have placed high enough in the league table. This way you can keep your team, your players and your clubfunds and compete for the ultimate trophy against managers that have also received a ticket to the Winners Cup.

    I hope this answer helps you little bit 🙂

    Hello, thanks for your reply
    Yeah, it's clear but unfortunately very frustrating, after all this time in building a team and paying real money? It all goes like I didn't do anything? Why is there no choice at the end of the season to renew contract with the team or move to another team as in real life? Every month I need to start from beginning! Really! This is very frustrating.

    @FC-Eddie_NL

    The first decision I made is to stop paying any real in-game money

    @mosalem84

    Because that is simply how OSM was designed back in 2001 when it al started. Back then paying heaps amounts of real money wasn't a thing. You can also see it as an appreciation to OSM for keeping the game alive and for you to enjoy playing it 😉 But ofcourse, you have to decide for yourself whether or not you want to pay real money for it.
