Since you have made your new league a private one then you , as the league's Moderator, have to invite any friend of yours.
I assume that you've followed the right steps? Did you add all your friends on your Friendlist? http://prntscr.com/e2rk3h , http://prntscr.com/e2rl27
If you did , then invite those friends into your league please. Let me know what happens mate.
