As of this afternoon, the ads are finally available.However, I will not update after that, even if a new version comes out!

They found the issue with the ads and that should be solved with the next version of the OSM app on Android.
Well, that's your choice, but don't complain if you get other bugs which have been solved in newer versions of the app.
