Tough tourney for Croatia so far.. Looks like it is time for our new generation of players to step up, the current team senators (Modric, Brozovic, Perisic) have given their maximum and simply it is time for fresh blood. Last game with Italy is to be or not to be, only win gives us a chance of maybe progressing into last 16.

I think portugal will lose with 2-0 against Turkey, but only if they play like the last one. Theyre playing lately poorly, dunno why but Turkey is young and i think they got more quality than Portugal because young players learn faster.

Just mine opinion, about the goals from yesterday from Holland i think that goal was right to taken away because the player of the Netherlands was blocking the keepers sight.

Good to see there is a topic about the EC 2024.

What are the predictions here for the semi finals?

Mine are :
Spain - Portugal
Engeland - France.

But i need to call Germany as other potential winner.

For now i'm surprised that Scotland is out and Croatie probably not going to make it either.

I think it will be more suprisingly if the teams you choose like portugal lose. or spain, football is so unpredictble with who wins or lose. XD

Sometimes its just not meant to be.. Still some chances that we finish among best 4 3rd ranked teams but they are in this sphere Im afraid :

Some crazy results resulting in one part of the knock-outs for some really lovely matches.

Spain-Georgia
Germany-Denmark

Portugal-Slovenia
France-Belgium
So probably Germany-Spain & Portugal-France as Quarters and then Semi finals. Al those matches could be a final on paper normally.

The other side of the KO is not so beautiful :

Romania-Netherlands
Austria-Turkey

Engeland-Slovakia
Switserland-Italy

Normally it would be Netherlands-Turkey & England-Italy in the quarters.
Turkey is still one of the big outsiders for the finals because they're playing 'home' games with all their fans living in Germany.

Austria is strong favourites for me against Turkey. Brilliant game plan so far, Ragnick's gegen-pressing really showing its power.

Dont forget Türkiye got a young team, so its possible Türkiye can win, never underistimate a ball. ^^

Netherlands got Romania, Romania is also a strong young team, its possible for the Netherlands to win but they need to play like 10 years ago otherway they will lose like Portugal yesterday.

What a matches we've seen so far.

Engeland was so lucky, i felt bad for the Slovakian people. They were so close!
The match between Spain and Georgia yesterday was a joy to watch!

Tonight the big match between France & Belgium. I think the France will knock the Belgiums out. Portugal will have an easy one against Slovenia.

hope Belgium wins it but with lack of team play, I don't think that only the individual skills from kdb, Lukaku, Doku.. will save them against France

If Portugal plays like last match, i won't be surprises if Slovenia puts hard on them.....

@Caiu_77 It could have been an easy win for Portugal when they scored. CR7 missed some that he scored easely in the past.

The goalkeeper from Portugal was the MotM. Saving all the 3 penaltys during the shoot-out.

France-Belgium was a boring match. Like i said before all the 'big' countries besides Spain and Germany play rubbish. There is no extra effort in those squads. Big difference with the small nations that fight for their life and country.

I still think the final could be Spain/Germany-Turkey.
