I recently started playing OSM again.
events were completely new to me. I saw on the forum that events are not completely random, but are somewhat fixed for the coming month.I try to make my team even stronger by buying and selling as many players as possible. Since there is a transfer event on Thursday, I was wondering if there could be a maximum number of players in the selection?
I am currently trying to buy as many interesting players as possible and then sell them quickly and smoothly on Thursday.
Also because i have a large selection (32 players now) is was wondering if players sell faster/more easily if there is a large selection?

Hi there and welcome back to OSM.
We have indeed events running throughout the month, which give different kind of boosts and/or reduce timers. Currently we have an event running that increases training progression and reduces the timers for the training session. In this topic you can see which events are planned for the month.
As for your questions:
I don't believe there is a maximum amount of players you can have in your squad. At least, I have never heard about that. If there is, it's probably a pretty high number as there are teams that have around 40 players at the start of the season.
Players won't sell faster or more easily if you have a large squad compared to having a small squad.
