I lost about 40 champion coins for making an improvement to the stadium capacity while having my funds in the bank. I would like to be reinstated and the upgrade cancelled. Thank you so much.

Perhaps you paid of the timer, your money was on Savings or you didn't have enough Club Funds to pay for the improvement. Otherwise you don't have to pay Bosscoins. Anyway, you can always try going to our customer support and ask there if they want to double check what happened. You can find them through the below link.

Then click on 'submit a request' and choose the option 'OSM' to fill in the contact sheet.
