Better Line-up

At the end of a match, in the medal points window, sometimes the game gives me extra points saying "Played against a team with a better line-up." Does that mean the opponents’ average player rating was higher than mine, or that their formation/tactics were better compared to mine?

That means that there player rating was higher then yours.
